We all know that each and every one of us is strong in different ways , through distinct skills. Each one of us has our own individual talents in which others may not have. However talented we may be, there are really times that we face depression.
Depression, one common and serious type of medical condition in which a person feels very sad, hopeless, and unimportant and often is unable to live in a normal way. Those who experienced depression need attention and accommodation. But how can you survive depression? What can you do in order to prevent having this medical condition?
Angela Mangana, a student from ACT and also one of the active leaders experienced that kind of medical condition. It was really hard for her to recover knowing that a lot of people bashed her out and saying boorish words. But she really believed that she can survive. “Trust me, it’s the worst. It’s a long story but surely is because of all the fear I have in my head and the words that the people around me have blurted out. It has given me anxiety but still, I continued to move further with the help of love.” she said. Given that she still continues her life with the help of love, one of her inspiration also is her family and especially her mom. Her mom really works hard to earn a living. Angela’s mom always supports them no matter what. Her mom never failed to impress them. “She told me how to be independent and stand for myself.” she added. And of course, she also has this non-blood-related guy who served as one of her living motivation in all things she does. He is no other than, Mr. Vince Barimbad, a grade 10 student also in the same school. Angela said that Vince inspires her so much unlike any other guy she had been.
She really loves the things that she does and likes. It gives her the reason to keep living and give her pure happiness that could never be given by anything or anyone else. She also loves the people around her and she does not want to choose any of them because she equally loves them.
One of her hobbies is golf. She really likes playing it and wants to aim more gold medals. “I can’t really count how many medals I already have. I just know that I am hoping for more.” she said. She started loving the sport since she was four however, she took it seriously at the age six. She is proud of herself because of what she has achieved. She received trophies and medals and won in national tournaments. She hopes and pray that she could reach and join competitions abroad.
On the other hand, she likes to be a worker with a stable financial status in the future. She does not state any work because she knows that in the future, God will always be there to guide and to lead her at the right path.

After such time, she was relieved of course with her depression because of the love and the things that she loves surrounding her. Since then, she is a free spirited woman with a kind and dignified heart. She continues her life and as of now she is ready to go to another journey of her life—The Senior High life.
Life may be rough to get through but sooner we get to learn the things that makes us stronger. And because of that, we still continue to fight on with every battle we face. The battle of our life and the battle through our journey.
Let us end this article with Angela's message to aspirants of the sport. " I would like to tell all the people out there, young or old, rich or poor, who would want to go through the journey of golf, that this sport won't be easy. It would take every effort and time to master this sport. It may look easy on the eyes but it really isn't. Golf is not just a physical sport, but it also needs to be played mentally with the right attitude. It you want to learn, go for it. If you want to achieve success, work for it. It won't be easy but it sure would be worth it."
