Photograph was hailed the most outstanding film of the night as it won Best Picture. "Photograph really is consistent in terms of videography, lighting and everything else was really good.", Mr. Hero Jorge, class adviser, commented.

Another talked about movie was the horror film, "The Fifth Floor." "The visual effects were really outstanding. Dominic Ricardo is really good at his craft.", Jywell Buscato, a fellow editor, said.

The Fifth Floor, directed by Sofia Esgana, received three awards: Best Visual Effects, Best Musical Scoring and Most Promising Actress.
Kyle Brent Largo, one of the judges and a former ACT JHS faculty said that the Film Fest is a really good avenue for students to practice the craft especially that when students reach senior high and college they would have more of such. "It is a very good exposure to the students.", he added.

The event was a major performance task participated by the entire Junior High School population of ACT Bulacao.
It was a collaborative performance task of English, MAPEH and ESP for the Grade 10 who made the films while Grades 7-9 were to make a film review of any one of the films as a collaborative project for MAPEH and English.
