G10-Perseverance representatives, Trisha Selma and Leela Barniego won the 2017 Nutri-chef
cook-ff at the campus quadrangle last July 28 in culmination of the Nutrition Month.
The ladies couldn't believe they've won since according to Barniego, she's joined the said competition since seventh grade but never won; while Selma on the other hand was a first timer.
They confessed that they really didn't focus on winning' "We simply focused more on the dish we planned to cook and gave our hundred percent effort on it. We also maintained our communication so as not to spoil the process."
The competition has strengthened the Selma and Barniego's determination and trust to comrades in order to achieve their goals. "Without determination and trust, the flow of the game will be a different one.", Selma added.
This is a yearly competition where in each section in the Junior High School gets to show off their culinary skills to commemorate the Nutrition Month.
