Scrabble Tournament 2018

A Two-Day Scrabble Tournament was held on February 1 and  2, 2018 and was played by chosen students from grades seven to ten.

The tournament was one of the events for the yearly Asianista Intramurals. It has three rounds and one hour to play each. Two  rounds were played on February 1 and the third round was played on February 2.

"The game was ok." Amos Rubinos, a grade 7 player, "It was a little bit hard." It was what he felt when he played the game.

“I felt contented by the results even though me and my teammates weren’t able to held the title as first placers. At least the game helped me developed my skills and learn new words from my fellow competitors.” Said Jude Tadios, one of the representatives from Grade 8.

It was a tough game against the Sophomores and Seniors since their players are one of the clever students in their grade. The game was moderated by Ms. Fatima Visbal, grade 7 adviser and English teacher.

First Runner-up – Jude Tadios,  Frederick Lim,  Johanna Abellanosa,  Kaye Abellanosa (Grade 8)

Second Runner-up – Mikela Gungob, Donesa Azcuna, Amos Rubinos, Katherine Espina, Glyndel Magallanes (Grade 7)

Third Runner-up -  Miyuki Nakatsuka, Deryn Bragat, Sandra Ayala, Gwyneth Resma (Grade 9)
